Prati Kruti Shirdi, Saibaba temple at Shirgaon.

Our Devotee listener Darshana has send some wonderful information about Shri Shirdi Saibaba temple at Shirgoan near Pune. Please allow me to cut and paste her story as she wanted me to make a nice slide show of some 40 - 50 pictures she has brought along with her memories of the trip. I have updated the post with pictures sent by you.

Babas devotees are always in love with baba and his forms. They dream of baba giving them darshan and of visiting baba at shirdi. Only the lucky few whom he calls go to take darshan of his samadhi at shirdi. But baba is present everywhere. Recently we came to know about Shirgaon where a replica of shirdi temple is made.


Shirgaon is a very small village near Talegaon in Maharashtra. If you take the pune express way and take the Talegaon exit, you see a road going to shirgaon. There is a huge entrance mentioning the pratikruti shirdi temple. Pujya shri saibhakt Dhondiram baba chavhan was the promoter of this temple. We were very blessed to have been there. I share a few pictures of the same with you. Here puja and aarti are done exactly in same way that in shirdi. We were lucky to attend the noon aarti. Mahaprasad is distributed to one and all after the aarti. At gurusthan a neem sapling had been brought from shirdi which is now just like the neemtree at shirdi. Dwarkamai is also just the same. I was overwhelmed as baba gave us darshan just like he does when we visit shirdi. So friends for some who cant make it to shirdi, this is really like visiting shirdi. And for others here are the picutres. Baba always showers his blessings.
